Requirements

• Mac OS x 10.4.1. or Higher
• Safari Web Browser
• Sun Java - Available Here
• All Current Mac OS Updates
• CampusConnect Username and Password
• Wireless VPN Client - Available Here

Connecting To Wireless

1. To Connect to DePaul's wireless network, click the Apple Airport Menu Bar icon in the top right of your screen and select depaulblue.
   
   
   
   

Installing the Wireless VPN Client

1. Open up Safari and go to the link below:
   http://wireless.depaul.edu/downloads/depaul-aventailconnect-osx.dmg
   
   
2. Accept the download of the installer by clicking Download
   
   
   
   
3. The installer will auto-run. Walk through the process and follow the on screen instructions of installation.
   
   
   
   
4. When clicking Install in the final step, enter your password for your computer account.
   
   
   
   
5. The VPN Client will then install and configure itself.
   
   
   
   

Logging Into the Wireless Network

1. Open the Applications folder.
   
   
2. Double Click the Aventail Connect icon.
   
   
   
   
3. Login with your CampusConnect ID and password.
   
   
   
   
4. Once Connected, the connection manger for the VPN will display. You are now connected to wireless.
   
   
   
   

Disconnecting from the Wireless VPN

1. Click the Disconnect button in the Aventail connection display.
