Palm Pilots

Note: Palm Pilot devices are not officially supported by Information Services. These instructions are provided for information purposes only and for advance users. Use this information at your own risk.

The Aventail SSLVPN does not support Palm Devices. However, users may still connect using the legacy and less secure DPUWireless Network.

Connecting to the DPUWireless Network

1. From the home screen, select Prefs.
2. Select Network from the menu in the upper right hand corner.
3. Tap Details in the lower left hand corner.
4. Input dpuwireless as the essid.
5. Verify Show on Assoc. Screen and Use DHPC are checked.
6. Tap Radio Config to open the config menu.
7. Select 128-bit Shared Key from the encryption menu and input Key 1 the wep settings below.
   
   
8. Tap Done and OK to close the menus.
